Welcome to Lake Panorama.org
Things are shaping up for a big three-day holiday weekend at Lake Panorama.
The LPA is requesting members and guests to go easy on water usage due to the loss of some of the LPA's water production capacity for the short term. If high water usage tasks like laundry, washing vehicles, lawn irrigation, watering gardens, can be re-scheduled for before July 3 and after July 6, it would help alleviate any problems that might occur concerning water supply. The LPA is hooking up a back-up water supply source with the City of Panora, but that system is untested at this time and may not be available for supply. The LPA Board will be looking at a number of options to solve the quality and quantity problems with water in the long term.
Your cooperation is appreciated.
Caution! Guests are driving the Boats! Be sure to inform your guests and accompany those who are unfamiliar with boating at Lake Panorama. They need to be aware of the centerline buoys, speed limits in the coves, what hazard buoys mean and to watch for downed skiers and tubers. Help make this a safe holiday at Lake Panorama.
If your guests vehicles overwhelm your drive and lawn, please have them park only on one side of the street in order not to excessively impede traffic. If possible, ask a neighbor for permission to park in their yard.
Fireworks displays at the lake must have a County Fireworks permit. Fireworks should be over by 11 p.m.
The privately sponsored "Fire in the Sky" fireworks will be on Saturday, July 5 at dusk, and will be launched from Shady Beach.
Please have a safe holiday!
